Reclamation ~ Credits and Liner Notes
Reclamation came to life through a close collaboration with producer and violinist Fritz Gearhart, who co-produced the album with Mira Devi and helped shape its sound from the ground up. In addition to engineering the recording, Fritz created the string arrangements and brought in a string quartet for “Carry Us Home,” giving the song a sweeping, cinematic quality. His violin also appears throughout the record, adding warmth and texture to several of the songs. The album grew organically through the recording process, with Fritz’s musicianship and production sensibility helping bring Mira’s songs into their fullest form while keeping the intimacy and honesty at the heart of the record.
